The RADAR consortium started in 2021 as an initiative to join forces to unravel the mystery behind abdominal aortic aneurysm remodeling after endovascular repair (EVAR). This aneurysm remodeling is a process that is not yet understood; it is not known what causes one patient to have a shrinking aneurysm whereas another has a stable aneurysm. With this consortium we will setup a large database and use AI to create a prediction model for aneurysm remodeling.
Currently, the RADAR consortium consists of six partners:
- Amsterdam Medical Centre, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
- Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden
- Medisch Spectrum Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands
- Rijnstate hospital, Arnhem, The Netherlands
- University Medical Centre Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands
- University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands
Together we aspire to create a clinically impactful prediction model for aneurysm remodeling and improve outcome of EVAR patients!
